Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing

Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing is a key specialty in the B.Sc. Nursing program that focuses on the care of women during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and reproductive health, along with newborn care.

At CON, the department prepares students to provide safe, evidence-based maternal and child health services. It emphasizes antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care, neonatal nursing, management of gynaecological disorders, and family welfare services. Students gain clinical experience in labour rooms, antenatal and postnatal wards, neonatal units, and family planning clinics, applying the nursing process in real practice.
